b San Antonio, Texas, USA 1944. Del Mar Coll, Corpus Christi, Texas; Univ of Houston, TX, and the Univ of Texas at Austin, TX. He was composer-in-residence at the 1984 Green Lake Festival of Music in Wisconsin. Several N American publishers have issued his music, both secular and sacred, which includes works for choir, solo voice, organ, chamber ensemble, band and orchestra, and commissioned pieces for the city of Charleston, the Texas Chamber Orchestra, the Concert Chorale of Houston and other societies, groups and colleges. It has also been widely recorded. He currently lives in Houston where he composes and plays for the Episcopal ch and is an associate Prof at the Univ School of Music.
