When you secured our freedom, Lord,
it was just like a dream come true:
with laughter and songs our lips overflowed
as we thanked and worshipped you.
Lord, you have done great things for us
and our joy is complete in you.
Lord, bring us back to flow like streams
in a desert revived by rain:
the reapers returning laden with sheaves
