The wise man built his house upon the rock,

and the rain came tumbling down.

3. When Jesus finished all he had to say,
the crowds were filled with wonder on the day;
he calls on everybody to obey –
there’s no one else like him!
So when he speaks and you can hear, hear, hear,
then don’t be foolish when it’s clear, clear, clear;
be wise enough to use your ear, ear, ear,
then do just what he says!
