You are bread, you are life,
and the words that you have spoken,
they are life, they are truth,
and they feed the hungry soul;
so we come and we feed
on the bread, your body broken,
as in faith we say, ‘Yes’
to the life that makes us whole.

2. You’re the Vine, you’re the Life,
and you gave yourself to save us;
by this wine, by your blood,
we identify with you:
for your blood is your life—
we are stunned at all you gave us,
so in faith we say, ‘Yes’
to the love that makes us new.
