Worked as organist and choir director in Michigan and New Jersey (Pompton Reformed) churches; currently (1999) music director, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Albany, NY. His tunes appear in several USA hymnals from The Hymnal 1982 onwards; often, as here, one at a time. But Songs for the People of God, compiled by Keith Landis (qv) in California in 1994, includes 2 of his texts and more than 90 of his tunes and arrangements. He has also produced The Alfred V Fedak Hymnary (1990) where 33 of his tunes are set to contemporary texts. No.11
