Sophie Killingley was born in 1983 in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. She grew up reaching Grade 8 in violin and piano, becoming a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales and awarded by the ABRSM for the highest Grade 8 mark in Wales in 2000. She has always been involved in church music making and loves composing for piano and voice in her spare time.

She studied at Warwick University and gained an LLB (qualifying) Law degree.

Sophie is now a Pastor’s wife living in Surrey, with two children. She continues to write music and make artwork from home.
