Good news throughout the world

Good news throughout the world
is centred in God’s Son,
for in his love for us
there’s hope for everyone.
In Jesus’ death we all can find
redeeming grace for lost mankind.

2. To people far and near
God calls and seekers go
to Jesus Christ the Lord,
his saving power to know.
For by his grace we are set free
to worship God in harmony.

3. The barriers must fall,
and ethnic groups be won.
Each culture, language, tribe
can through his plan be one.
Dividing walls are swept aside
as Jesus builds his church worldwide.

4. No feature can divide
his own from every land.
In unity they come
brought by God’s mighty hand.
Around the throne vast numbers sing
their praise to Christ, the Lord and King.
