HAVE YOU BELIEVED THE MESSAGE RECEIVED?
The man who knew suffering, anguish and grief—
not his desire to win worldly praise;
we hide our faces from his disgrace—
a man of sorrows.

But truly he bore all our failures and flaws,
carried our sorrows,
carried our sorrows;
crushed for our sins and afflicted by God
for our transgressions,
for our transgressions:
a wondrous Saviour is he.

  1. Have you believed the message received?
    We like lost wanderers, helpless as sheep,
    but he, like a lamb led out to die,
    showed no resistance, silent his cry—
    a man of sorrows.

But truly he bore all our failures and flaws…

3. Have you believed the message received?
After his suffering, after his grief,
the merciful Lord raised him to be
the light of salvation, the Saviour for me!
A man of sorrows.
But truly he bore all our failures and flaws,
carried our sorrows,
carried our sorrows;
crushed for our sins and afflicted by God
for our transgressions,
for our transgressions:
a wondrous Saviour, a wondrous Saviour,
a wondrous Saviour, is he.
