O what glory
- 1055
O what glory the church has;
an honour words cannot say:
Jesus’ bride, sanctified,
waiting for the wedding day.
God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved,
we live to serve you in all that we do.
Heirs of salvation, born of the living God,
may we bring glory, bring glory to you.
2. We are built as his temple,
the dwelling place of the Lord:
Spirit-filled, as he willed,
witness to the grace of God.
God’s chosen people…
3. We the church are Christ’s body,
we build each other in love.
Christ our head, Spirit-led,
set our hearts on things above.
God’s chosen people…
4. As a crowd beyond number
from every language and place;
suffering past, home at last,
we shall see him face to face.
God’s chosen people…
