The story behind the hymn

Next to the previous item here (for thematic reasons) as in Let’s Praise 2 (for alphabetical ones) is this rhythmic combined composition by Noel and Tricia Richards, which also bears the date 1989. It was launched at their home church at Cobham in Surrey, with the tune OUR CONFIDENCE IS IN THE LORD, and subsequently at Spring Harvest. The repeated ‘fortress’ lines derive from such Psalms as 18, 91 and 144.
