Tune

The story behind the hymn

Chris Bowater’s song, with its echoes of the Lord’s Prayer, was composed in 1985 with it own tune REIGN IN ME. It was sung at Spring Harvest and entered MP in 1987, followed by other books. MP credits the musical arrangement to G Baker. The Scripture referred to was Matthew 6.10, but the song restricts that prayer to an individual petition.
